Getting Started

New to PvPocket? Start here to learn the basics.

PvPocket is a companion app for Pokemon TCG Pocket players. It helps you:

  • Build decks with our 20-card format builder
  • Track your collection of Pokemon cards
  • Share decks with friends and the community
  • Browse meta decks to see what's popular

Creating an account is simple and secure:

  1. Click the "Login" button in the top right corner
  2. Choose "Sign in with Google" (we use Google OAuth for security)
  3. Authorize PvPocket to access your basic Google account info
  4. Choose a unique username for your profile
  5. Start building decks and tracking your collection!
Why Google OAuth? We use Google's authentication system so you don't need to create another password to remember. Your Google credentials are never stored on our servers.

Yes! PvPocket is completely free to use with all core features available at no cost:

  • Unlimited deck building and storage
  • Complete Pokemon TCG card database access
  • AI battle simulation

Deck Building

Build competitive Pokemon TCG Pocket decks.

Pokemon TCG Pocket uses a 20-card deck format:

  • 20 cards total: The standard deck size in Pokemon TCG Pocket
  • 2-copy limit: Maximum of 2 copies of any card (by name)
  • Basic Pokemon required: Must include at least 3 Basic Pokemon
  1. Go to Deck Builder: Click "Build Deck" from the main menu
  2. Add Pokemon: Include Basic Pokemon and their evolutions
  3. Add Trainer cards: Include support cards
  4. Save your deck: Give it a name and save

Collection Tracking

Track your Pokemon TCG Pocket cards.

  1. Browse cards: View all Pokemon TCG Pocket cards
  2. Mark ownership: Click cards to add them to your collection
  3. Track quantities: Specify how many copies you own

Account & Privacy

Account management and data privacy.

  • Google account info: Name, email, and profile picture (via OAuth)
  • Game data: Your decks and collection
